Last year I started prop making for some of the weddings I had booked. I love images of someone holding an object out in front of them but only part of their body is within the frame. On this note, I decided to make some hearts on a stick thinking this would fit in nicely for a wedding, they make great little extras in the wedding album too!
You will need: a thin wooden stick (I used a wooden skewer), some ribbon, tape/glue and foam sheets.
Simply wrap the ribbon around the stick and glue or tape in place at either end. Next you will need to draw a heart shape either free hand onto the foam or by using a template, once cutout, it’s ready to be placed onto the stick and voila….a very effective prop ready in less than 10 minutes!
